At 30, David Paxton is seen as an aging minor-league baseball player. When his team moves back to near his childhood hometown, he finds he is still haunted by childhood secrets. Seemingly lost in his life, David is the last one the town elders want near the young, troubled, Ross Embry, 14. But, David might be the only one who can save Ross from an evil that's long been haunting the town.
