David Fincher and a Marvel movie?
Another epic interview was published by Empire, which asked David Fincher 30 questions and oh boy, did we learn a lot about the legendary director. Among other things…
- His filmmaker heroes are George Roy Hill, Alfred Hitchcock, Roman Polanski, Steven Spielberg, Alan Pakula, and Bob Fosse.
- He didn’t exactly say no to a Star Wars or MCU movie ?
- “Out-and-out” comedy is not his thing, but he thinks that when “you’re making films that have a lot of… depravity, and are about serious subjects, you have to temper that.”
- His favorite opening-credits sequences are Alien, Seven, and Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, among others.
New Dune photos make us want more, now!
If Denis Villeneuve is the one helming a film version of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi novel Dune, we are not one bit worried about the result. You can check out the exclusive photos from the filming in Jordan on Vanity Fair, including Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica Atreides, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck and Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho. Apparently, the cast felt as if they were in a whole other world. “It was really surreal. There are these Goliath landscapes, which you may imagine existing on planets in our universe, but not on Earth,” explained Chalamet.
